Superdelic | Hop Sensory Analysis With Oil Creek Brewing

Superdelic is 10.4% Alpha Acids and full of flavor!

This is a brand new New Zealand variety and it is incredibly oily! Because of this, it is said to have great biotransformation characteristics and aromas of fresh fruit and candy sucker. This hop has become really popular in recent craft beer trends.

These aromas are said to carry over to the final product as well as flavors of red berry.

Superdelic pairs well with Citra, Simcoe, Nelson Sauvin, Motueka and Riwaka.

I recently used it in a West Coast IPA dry hop. This dry hop brought out some flavors of crushed berries and ripe fruit. I canโ€™t recommend it enough!

This hop would do really well in not only West Coast IPA, but Hazies, and New Zealand Pilsners!
