Idaho 7 Hop Hash | Hop Sensory Analysis With Oil Creek Brewing

Idaho 7 Hop Hash- This hop hash is the oiliest l’ve analyzed yet! Wow! The aromas of sweet fruit, wood aromatic and citrus dominate with pine, mango and peach/apricot aromas.

This variety is meant for dry hopping as the alpha acids aren’t advertised due to the way it is manufactured during the hop pelletization process. I’ve smelled and tested several varieties and so far this is the most aromatic l’ve smelled. It would go great in a west coast or hazy ipa.

As a matter of fact, l brewed a beer recently with this hop which got a full 4oz of dry hop with this. Very intense aroma. What I’d recommend though is to take it out, let it warm up, and pulverize it before dry hop.
