Amarillo Hop Hash | Hop Sensory Analysis With Oil Creek Brewing

Amarillo is a classic variety in brewing here in America. Hop hash takes it to the next level! This hop has smells of lilac, grapefruit, and candied fruit. These traits are said to carry over by brewers who have used this variety of Amarillo. This would make a fantastic dry hop in a west coast ipa or go a little lighter on the charge and dry hop your Pilsner with it.

My advice to you is to let hop has warm up and then crush it into fine powder, if possible. This will help maximize the total surface area of the hop hash.
