Ekuanot comes in at 14.3% alpha acids and you can tell by the oils on my hands this is a sticky hop!
Right out of the bag smelled very dank! Upon further rub, it smells like peach pear, a little herbal and flavors are melon, guava, and a resinous finish which I can see given its weed aroma.
Ekuanot is a hop that people seek out when they’re making a single hop beer. This is due to its diverse aroma and flavor profile. It can add depth to a beer even on its own, which isn’t the case with too many varieties. This is also a great option for IPAs, Pale Ales, and blonde ales.
