This batch of Cascade is 7% Alpha Acids. I know you’re all very familiar with this variety but did you know it’s the original craft beer hop? It all started in 1972 and is used most famously in Sierra Nevada Pale Ale.
Most famously known for its aroma and flavors of pine, but also orange zest and grapefruit. Those compliment that pine incredibly well.
If you haven’t tried Cascade yet, go get some. Make an ipa, pale ale, amber lager, amber ale, or even a Black IPA with Cascade soon!
