Azacca| Hop Sensory Analysis With Oil Creek Brewing

Azacca is a robust variety that l’d highly recommend you introduce to your West Coast IPAs right away. It’s named after Azacca, the Haitian voodoo god of agriculture.

This hop is 17% Alpha Acids and gives aromas of fresh cut fruit and pine while flavors come through with a green, woody, and pineapple. I’ve successfully used this in hazies and west coast IPAs. It’s a more common variety but with such high alpha acids you can add that bitterness you want without breaking the bank and needing loads of hops!
